Emerson’s Law – Week 15

I was reviewing Emerson’s Law again and I just love, love, love it!  It speaks of truth that parallels the Proverbs.

Everything has dual sides to make it whole…left, right; light, dark; hot, cold; up, down; man, woman…there is always a leveling of circumstances that balances out every part of nature.  The universe is alive with evidences of creation.

“Everything in nature contains all the powers of nature.” Heaven Stock Photo IMG_2185d2 Like produces like, kind produces kind.  Every living cell of nature recreates not only its main character of the type it is, but also its resistances, similarities, and relationships to everything else in nature.  It is brought to mind how everything was created for man, for his enjoyment and discovery, for his challenges and lessons learned through trials.  “Our strength grows out of our weakness.”  It becomes imperative for man to look where his weakness lies within himself, learn by it, and over come it.  Develop principles that form good habits as it is through good habits that develop success.

The Proverbs

In the Proverbs, there is one chapter for every day of the month and I don’t think that is coincidental.  Proverbs is a book of common sense and wisdom of the ages.

As every nation has their specific sacred book(s) which is their moral compass for their people,  there still remains a great drive to get the ‘religion’ out of the schools, government buildings and property.  Emerson states that “And this law of laws which the pulpit, the senate, and the college deny, is hourly preached in all markets and workshops by flights of proverbs, whose teaching is as true and as omnipresent as that of birds and flies.”

How I understand him to say is that people speak and teach the proverbs in their daily lives as it is a moral code imprinted in them, thus the teachings of it cannot be obliterated as some would hope.  How can I not teach this to my children and still expect them to become responsible adults?

“But because of the dual constitution of things, in labor as in life there can be no cheating.  The thief steals from himself.  The swindler swindles himself. It makes sense to me that the thief is constrained in freedom (whether physical or mental), and the swindler loses his standing/reputation among family and friends.  For the real price of labor is knowledge and virtue, whereof wealth and credit are signs.”

Well, thank goodness, I don’t steal or swindle…or do I?  Do I steal time away from myself by doing meaningless stuff which robs me from the blessings that could have transpired?  Do I swindle with the ‘airs’ I put on when trying to impress someone without the right motives or by giving my opinion?

“The law of nature is, Do the thing, and you shall have the power; but they who do not do the thing have not the power.”  ‘So as the Almighty has said, “Up and onward for evermore!”  We cannot stay amid the ruins.’

Onward and Upward,

The Masterkey Flight to Success – Week 4

What a massive accomplishment this week brought!  I had piled an extra ton of work that I wanted to achieve before I picked up my husband from the airport late Wednesday evening.  We haven’t seen each other since August. I knew better because as Og Mandino states, “Failure is man’s inability to reach his goals in life, whatever they may be.”  I just knew I had to complete my goals or it would do a number on my subby.   After all, we are the one’s who set the agenda for what needs to get done for the Masterkey flight to success.

Even though I had accomplished a mega amount of work by noon, my list was still daunting and Airplane and soaring birdI was running out of energy.  I sat down at the computer, turned the Tweetdeck on, and there was a Masterkey post last Wednesday titled,  “Happy Birthday to me!”  (I am sorry I didn’t copy the post down as I can’t find it now).  I read it and he mentioned that he had a 20-minute sit in the middle of the day… and I thought…’Why not’… so I had a second 20-minute sit after doing my Og Mandino’s readings, DMP, and reciting of my index cards.

I was so refreshed from it that it felt like the first sit in the morning. It blew me away!  AND I accomplished everything on my list!  Wah–ooh!  Soaring in the clouds!

GOD’S DMP – Week 3

I just got my DMP back for another revision so I was thinking about that as I started to read the book of Ephesians again.  And then It just hit me when I was reading the first chapter that God also had a definite major purpose in place before He created the world…and more specifically me and you.

verses 3 – 6. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should  be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.”inspirational_sky150x150

verses 7 – 10 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times, He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.”

verses 11 – 14 “In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”

So, even before He spoke (words are very powerful) the world into existence as stated in John 1:1-3, He knew us and planned for us.

Now as I look at my DMP with new insight, I get a clearer picture of what I need to change,  The   significance of making a difference in the world (in the world of others and myself), does first start with a thought.  Wow! I get it.

Week 3 – Press On!

Master Key

17.  It is our attitude of mind toward life which determines the experiences with which we are to meet; if we expect nothing, we shall have nothing; if we demand much, we shall receive the greater portion.

I am reminded of this quote as I stared at the computer last night trying to figure out how to ‘launch’  the Go90Grow videos.   I see the email but there was so much computer jargon left in business woman using laptopthe body of the script, and I did not know how to correct it.  I looked at the subject line and it says, “How average people are crushing MLM with Go90Grow skills“, and I have to laugh because that is so me right now.  Then comes to mind…’Do It Now!’   So I sent it out errors and all.  I knew that if I didn’t, I would not send it at all because I have a tendency toward perfectionism.  Later, I figured out how to correctly process the email.  Another lesson learned.

I am so glad to have gone through the most powerful Go90Grow course with Mark J.  The class fills up so fast with so many finding out that these SKILLS do work and drive people to success!

If you haven’t been through this course, don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!   I have learned things from him that has made a significant difference in my business.  As a matter of fact, you can grab some free videos of his at this link.

Master Key

23.  This is not the only way, but it is the simple and effective way, and the most direct way, and consequently the way in which the best results are secured.  It is the method which is producing such extraordinary results that many think that miracles are being accomplished.

Have a Great Day!

Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” -Napoleon Hill

Growing up as the eldest of 7 gave me a great opportunity to understand the take-charge-of-responsibility characteristic.  It worked very well living in a military household with 6 children of my own.  When our 5 sons went into boot camp, they were so well trained that they wrote home telling me how great was boot camp.  I made them believe that it was ‘finishing school’ for young men before setting out on life of their own.

Our daughter certainly spiced everything up for them.  Even though her 5’3″ 109 pound physically fit frame was no match for the average 6′ muscle bound  frame of her brothers, she has complete control over her passion–the horse.

While each of them are specialized in their own profession and married to the love of their life, it gives me even greater joy to be ‘Grandma’ of 8…and the circle of life continues.

I know it was hard to guess but yes, my husband and I are Baby Boomers.  He has spoilt me immensely by letting me stay at home and raise our kids while he made sure my every need was met. When it was time, he encouraged me to upgrade my education, and pursue whatever profession I wanted.  With most jobs, I was able to move into the management level.

Right now our main residence is in Klamath Falls, Oregon.  We also have a home in Larned, Kansas where we stay for 6 months of the year.  Since we have lived in several different states, we are very blessed to have very good friends across the nation.

This is the most exciting time of our life as we venture beyond the norm and build up our MLM business to not only replace and exceed my husband’s salary, but attain our dreams as we help others attain theirs.  Brick by brick we strengthen the foundation of our business through unrelenting belief and newly formed habits, giving us the confidence that we are on the cutting edge of sweet success.

Week 2 – Recovery of My Subby

While I could write out a good portion of the Master Keys because it is so insightful, I will spare you that for time and just hit some highlights.

5.  …The marvel of playing a brilliant piece on the piano, while at the same time conducting a vigorous conversation, shows the greatness of our subconscious powers.

7. The value of the subconscious is enormous; it inspires us; it warns us; it furnishes us with names, facts and scenes from the storehouse of memory.  It directs our thoughts, tastes, and accomplishes tasks so intricate that no conscious mind, even if it had the power, has the capacity for.

IT ALL GOT WIPED OUT IN ONE FREAKY ROLLER SKATING ACCIDENT   Yes, that happened to me.  My skate hit a bean that escaped from a hack-n-sack which caused me to flip backwards on my head and I saw stars.  When I recovered from the blackout, my 18-year old son asked me if I knew my name and I said yes but gave him my maiden name as I didn’t remember my married name.  I knew my husband was my husband, and my kids were my kids. But that’s about all. We had just moved to Colorado the month before but I didn’t remember any of that.  I didn’t remember any of my kids’ birthdays nor did I know where they were born.  I had played piano and organ in church for 15 years but all my sense of rhythm was gone and I had to re-learn how to read music.  Because my memory was so chaotic, I knew I could not work in a chemistry lab again, and I would just have to treasure my worn down, periodic table coffee cup.

Do I still struggle?  Yes, mostly with words. I use to be a great speller so I thank the Lord for spell check. I can write better than I speak.  Many times my speech pattern gets disjointed.  My music has improved immensely and I am back playing the keyboard in church.

What I didn’t know until now with this week’s study is that it was my subby that got injured.  This makes so much sense!  Even though so much was wiped away and I may never get it back, I am so grateful for our body’s incredible and remarkable way to recover.

I am also so thankful for Mark and Davene offering this Master Key Master Mind Alliance course so that my subby can complete its healing.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Week 1 – The Master Key Staircase to Success

With great anticipation I start my first week in class with Master Key Master Mind Alliance taught by Mark Janusewski.  What this 26-week course will do is help me understand myself better and teach me how I can develop my desire and passion that course in my veins into a very real and tangible reality.

I invite you to join me on this journey of true inner discovery.   I picture myself at the bottom of a grandiose staircase heading up a mountain to a fabulous summit overlooking the beauty of valleys and hills of my life which marks me of who I am created to be and do.  Stairway to forest ID-100138665

I guess the ‘Big Question’ would be “WHY am I doing this?”  Well…

*I am not content with a mediocre life when I know my Lord would have me excel.

*I want the best education there is to help others attain their dreams while also attaining mine.

*If monumental change can come effortlessly through small steps, why am I at a stand still?

  • As I face the bottom step and look up as the steps taper out of view, I can only imagine what lies for me at the top.  I know that I don’t want to go back from where I came in struggling in my mediocre life.  If there is going to be pain either way, I would rather endure the pain of success.  ‘So today I begin a new life.’

Og Mandino states in Scroll I of The Greatest Salesman, “In truth, the only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the difference of their habits.  Good habits are the key to all success. Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.”

So, what governs a habit?

Habit is the repeating of an action that is ruled by impulses toward appetite, passion, prejudice, greed, love, fear, environment; and is formed very early in life. Habits can be changed by substituting old habits for new that will bring me closer to success.

Mark J instructs us to write down EVERYTHING.  “If it isn’t written down, it doesn’t happen,” he says, then after 30 days of doing the same thing, it becomes a habit.”

All growth is from within

When I daily read my Definite Major Purpose (3x), The Master Key, The Greatest Salesman (3x), Blueprint Builder, and for me personally —The Holy Scriptures, and sit quietly for 15 minutes, I notice that these powerful words seep deep into my sub consciousness  and soon become the riveting catalysts for new experiences.   I am now able to control my thought processes and apply it to any condition.  Step one completed!
