Why Gumby Matters – Week 13

Have you ever noticed when you go through a change or change things up, things just get twisted up just before the breakthrough?  I always visualize a Gumby twisted at the waist before the legs whip around to follow where the head is leading.

It is right there between the old way and the new way, that the body does it most vicious battle and causes the person involved to experience some depression, doubt, and a sense of vulnerability.

I have learned that when I experience this sense of internal conflict, I am on the verge of change.  Yes, the process is working and I will accept it as my new me.  I Believe!

“What things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”  Mark 11:24

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

“All truth is the same, whether stated in modern scientific terms or in the language of apostolic times.” MK 11.23

So what does the creative power of thought consist?  It consists in creating ideas, and these in turn objectify themselves by appropriating, inventing, observing, discerning, discovering, analyzing, ruling, governing, combining, and applying matter and force.  It can do this because it is an intelligent creative power.  MK 11.30

Now we must put our knowledge into practice. Nothing can be accomplished in any other way.  It is now important to give out thoughts of courage, inspiration, health, or any kind of help which in turn will set in motion the return effect.  This is the Law of Attraction.

….”A happy thought cannot exist in an unhappy consciousness; therefore the consciousness must change, and, as the consciousness changes, all conditions necessary to meet the changed consciousness gradually change, in order to meet the requirements of the new situation.” MK 13.24

“Thought will bring about conditions in correspondence with the predominant mental attitude.” MK 13.16

When I leap for joy, my twisted waist swings my legs around to face the direction I intend to go.  Now my body is in line with my mental focus which allows my spiritual core to flow in creativity in becoming part of a whole in happiness and harmony.

Gumby is ATTITUDE   Gumby is a ACTION    Gumby is RESULTS  Gumby LEARNES

POWER – DARE – DO Week 12

We are God’s master piece and He delights in us.

Anyone who has involvement with another person whether it is coaching, parenting, instructional,  and/or encouraging, will find themselves following the principles of the 1. knowledge of your power, 2. the courage to dare,  and 3. the faith to do in helping another person stretch past their comfort zone to achieve a greater potential.

As a mother of 6, I have watched my children explore their boundaries with curiosity and ease. When they tended to pull back from taking greater risks, I would step in and pad the floor with pillows so that it would soften their landing as I encouraged them to jumped one step higher…and then another.

I knew that they were capable of doing more before they knew it.  It was my job to give them the power to believe that they could also do more than what they believed they could. When they learned that they lived through the dare of taking risks in small things, then it became easier for them to do more.

As they accomplished each challenge with a sense of pride and zeal, they search for more of “all that they can be.”

Chapter 12.4b in Master Key Master Mind Alliance states, “The only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward.  Eternal viligence is the price of success.  There are three steps, and each one is absolutely essential.  You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do.”

I, personally, have found that somewhere along the line in wrapping myself in the life of my children, I forgot the accomplishments in my own life until we had to write them down on index cards and review them. My one sentence Definite Major Purpose gives me the focus and clarity to believe that I have the power to courageously dare to accomplish in faith all that I can be.

This is a great reminder that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

As I remember how God loved me so much that He sent His Son to be born of a virgin, pay for my sins on the cross, so that I can enjoy eternity with Him; it becomes my deepest desire to also serve others in love.   ‘Feeling is desire, and desire is love.  Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible.’  Anything done without love is of no consequence. Love is the glue that binds action to success.

The Blank Check – Week 11

Even though I had another post nearly ready, I just had to scrap it for this one.  I received a very important message today from a very dear but wealthy relative.  Even though it is several pages long, I will share with you, my dear friends, some very exciting news.

Since it will soon be the birthday of my father, he wanted to show his love for his son and family by gifting everyone a blank check!!!  Oh my Goodness! Can you believe it!?  This just doesn’t happen to me EVER!!!  I can hardly think!

I mean, NO ONE knows what his worth is but I’m pretty positive he could easily bail out the national debt without breaking his vault!!!

With that being said, he found out somehow—I’m sure he has his ways—that I’m in this Master Key Master Mind Alliance class.  He tells me that he would also like to gift everyone, including the instructors,  in class with a blank check also.

I know you don’t believe me but I’m telling the truth.  My Grand Father does not lie.  He knew that you would have some doubt so he sent this note, “What things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Needless to say, I can not express in adequate words what this ‘sit’ has been like for me this week.  We are sitting with a blank check in our hands from God!!!

I am so humbled by this.   This also places a lot of responsibility as we care for others, our planet, and ourselves.

“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

The Law of Growth – Week 10

“Constructive thought must necessarily be creative, but creative thought must be harmonious, and this eliminate all destructive or competitive thought.” Master Key 10.21

“Wisdom, strength, courage and all harmonious conditions are the result of power and we have seen that all power is from within; …all power is developed by exercise.” Master Key 10.22

“This exercise consists in making an application of your knowledge.  Knowledge will not apply itself.  You must make the application.”  Master Key 10.23

What if your only way of application is totally different from ‘normal?’ Would your thought process be able to push through visible barriers that makes application to success more of a challenge?   Let me introduce you to Richie Parker who is an incredible inspiration to me. I met him in church through this video.

Richie says, “No has never been the answer.”  There’s not a lot he can’t do. Just some things he hasn’t done, yet.

His persistence to achieve all that he can be and more, gives me new appreciation that the only limits for success are those that we place on ourselves.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13

The thought — “I can do this” — becomes an ‘active vital form of dynamic energy’ that actually produces the power to make it happen through the correlation of  bringing the invisible ideal into reality.  This manifestation is the Master Key through which the Most High has given us ‘dominion over all things’ as recorded in Genesis.

Your decree–“I can do this”—“shall be established unto thee.” Job 22:28  But be careful you don’t take the credit of this manifestation as we cannot do anything without the Will of the Father: “It is not I that doeth the works, but the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the work.” John 14:10

When I personally accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, I invited the Spirit of God to dwell within me.   He is the Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent who lives within me, and as it says in I Corinthians 2:16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, that He may instruct him?  But we have the mind of Christ.”

I  testify that this course has truly been a blessing to me.  The Mental Diet especially has taught me that I am the handicap person with the internal need for a good cleaning within so that I can be the presentable Temple for my God’s blessing in my life.
