A Mind Reader? – Wk 9

Is Mark J. a mind reader?

It seemed like the struggle I had last week with my subby revealing to me that there was ‘something’ that I had to come to terms with.  Believe me, subby knows when you are pretending to believe or needing to change a habit, even before we understand what it is…and that is what had paralyzed me last week.  I had to find out what I was kidding myself about or denying its presence.  My thoughts could not get beyond cracking through this veneer.

Then Mark said that it was imperative that we pick a partner for your NWM profession.  Find someone that will encourage you to follow through on what you will do each day. Share your DMP and the combinations you are implementing in the natural course of the day.  Everybody! Connect!

That was it!  I had to connect with someone in my upper up-line if I was going to go beyond this stalemate.  I contacted one person and he told me what I needed to do, but I needed to contact another to get the information to complete the assignment. Even though there was a Thanksgiving holiday mixed into this week, I was able to complete what I had to do today.  That makes me happy and I feel FREE!

As stated in Master Key 9:6 “To think correctly, accurately, we must know the “Truth.”  The truth then is the underlying principle in every business or social relation.  It is a condition precedent to every right action.”

Truth is mighty and will prevail.   MK 9:17 states, “He who has learned to bring the greatest spiritual truths into touch with the so called lesser things of life has discovered the secret of the solution of his problem.”

What I have learned is not to be afraid of that frozen feeling because it will soon be revealed what is necessary to crack through the next layer of ice.  This then will bring me closer to my Definite Major Purpose.

“Yes! I am Whole, Perfect, Strong, Powerful, Loving, Harmonious, and Happy!”

FROZEN – Week 8

FROZEN.

I feel frozen in my mind and body.  Yes, everything is difficult before it get easier; and every new experience feels uncomfortable before it’s comfortable—running like a smooth oiled machine.

I know what to do, and do it.  I know what to say, and say it.  Feeling frozen just tells me that subby is trying to get my attention as there is something that I need to attend to in order to press forward.  I feel very grateful for having the tools to pry this out of the my encased shell.

Since I don’t have time for the ‘Spring thaw’, I take the mallet out and start chipping away.

From now on I take full responsibility and ownership of my life.  I make the calls, do the follow up, decide the outcomes I want.  I can’t change the past, but I can re-direct the future.  The profession I am in has limitless potential, and I am taking full responsibility of its results.

Yes, there are certain things that are not ideal, but that doesn’t matter any more as I gather power from within and strength from my Lord, I have all that it takes to overcome this shell of ice.

THE SEVEN DAY MENTAL DIET – Week 7

These next 2 weeks we were challenged to have no opinions.  I knew that I would have to wait to start this challenge after the Presidential Elections because this was a very electrifying year that would determine the direction our country would take by the candidate that would win.

What is the Mental Diet?

It is for seven days I must not allow myself to dwell for a single moment on any kind of negative thought.  By dedicating seven consecutive days of solely developing this new habit is the most significant week in my whole life; nothing can possibly remain the same.

So what is considered negative thinking?

As quoted in ‘The Seven Day Mental Diet’ by Emmet fox “a negative thought is any thought of failure, disappointment, or trouble; any thought of criticism, or spite, or jealousy, or condemnation of others, or self-condemnation; any thought of sickness or accident; or, in short, any kind of limitation or pessimistic thinking.

How is it possible to reframe from thinking negative thoughts?

Well, according to the Law of Substitution as one of the Seven Laws of the Mind, we cannot think about 2 things at the same time.  If a negative thought enters your mind, try to think about God instead.  Jesus said in Matthew 5:39, “That ye resist not evil, but whosoever smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also”…so just turn from a negative thought and think of something else.  The mind is created in such a special way that it cannot contain two thoughts at one time.  A person can be aware of the negativity around her, but yet not be part of it through the Law of Substitution.

Love is the greatest weapon of all negativity.  Love applauds your enemies and they become your friends.  Love is not critical but builds bridges around hearts so that your love can enter their soul.  By reacting with love for others no matter what they do or say, we repulse the arrows of hate and the spears of anger. This is a good example of how to use the Law of Substitution.

Why is controlling negative thoughts important?

It comes down to ‘choice.’  I choose all the conditions of my life when I choose the thoughts which I allow my mind to think about.  It is imperative to train myself to choose my thoughts as my thoughts lay the groundwork for success in every area of life.  It becomes ever clearer why the scriptures state, “We are transformed by the renewing of our minds.”     After all, all thoughts have a destiny as previously described in my last blog.  When we control our thoughts, we control our destiny.

Every Thought Has a Destiny – Week 6

Every Thought has a Destiny

Just as our Heavenly Father had a thought that He would really enjoy having a being worship Him because they truly love Him; He created us in His likeness bestowing upon us His love and devotion, giving to us all that we need and desire.  In anticipation of this special creation, they created a special place for us to live with all the embellishments to enjoy.

We were created by the Best…To Do Our Best…For the Best…

Since the beginning there has never been another person with your mind, your heart, your eyes, your ears, your hands, your mouth. You are valuable and have unlimited potential.  We are not on this earth by chance. We are here for a purpose.  We are the Lord’s greatest miracle.  We have been given eyes to see and a mind to think and perceive that all problems, discouragements, and heartaches are great opportunities in disguise.  We need to keep our focus on the Lord.  Our Lord’s opponent will use people in their sin to distract our purpose in serving the Lord.  A crisis of faith may develop if we start doubting God’s love and His unique way of drawing all men unto Him.  Please stay firm in your faith.

We are the sum total of our thoughts.  With each thought comes

choices.  We are where we are, who we are, and why we are

through a series of thoughts we have honed and developed into

actions.  As Margaret Thatcher’s father stated,

“What are your thoughts, they become your words.

What are your words, they become your actions.

What are your actions, they become your habits.

What are your habits, they become your character.

What is your character, so it becomes your destiny.”

Everything begins with a thought and ends with your destiny. Words do mean something. “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.” Colossians 3:17
